<p>Today I attended the AGM of Silverlake Axis which was held in the Marina Mandarin hotel.</p><p><a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/14150" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:14150:1">Silverlake Axis Ltd (SILV SP)</a> is a controversial name ever since it was attacked by a <a href="https://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/investingnote-production-webbucket/attachments/de4b847fad94cd22411eda65868dfdb46fec91e1.pdf?1440215716" target="_blank">short seller</a> in August 2015. In January 2016 Deloitte issued a <a href="http://www.silverlakeaxis.com/img/pdf/Silverlake%20Axis%20Ltd%20Executive%20Report%206%20Jan%202016.pdf" target="_blank">54-page report</a> which dismisses the short seller claims in great detail. EMCS Thailand is a software company that specializes in non-life insurers and auto service centers. Currently, THRE holds 50% of the company after buying out BKI (Bangkok Insurance), while THREL still holds 20%.
