Periscope Analytics focuses on event-driven trades across Asia Pacific and provides comprehensive, timely and systematic coverage of index changes to major Asia Pacific indices in a structured manner.

The analysis includes forecasted inclusions and exclusions to all major Asian indices that have significant amount of tracking assets, including estimates of passive buy/sell flow on the stocks. <li>We see 5 migrations between MidCap and LargeCap, 8 migrations from SmallCap to MidCap, 3 new adds to MidCap, and 11 migrations from MidCap to SmallCap.</li>
<li>Stocks migrating from SmallCap to MidCap have outperformed stocks that are migrating between other categories.</li>

<li>Juice for cash &amp; carry arbitrage doesn't seem like much. Several names in contango, but the basis widening isn't at a sufficiently arb-tradable level.</li>
<li>Reverse cash &amp; carry isn't all that attractive either, but it certainly does offer more juice, even with borrow fees. Ssangyong C&amp;E, SKT, Shinhan, and KB deserve our attention.</li>
<li>A bit uncertain is whether the pattern of "LONG Spot until ex-dividend and Conversion to Short" through cash &amp; carry will repeat itself this time.</li>

<li>Sampyo Cement which is currently included in KOSDAQ150 is likely to be removed from this index in the coming months as the company wants to move to KOSPI.</li>
<li>If Sampyo Cement is excluded from KOSDAQ150, we estimate there could be about 9 billion won worth of passive funds which could exit the stock. ADTV is 1.6 billion won.</li>
<li>Therefore, we believe Sampyo Cement's shares could face further weakness in the next several months. It will hold an EGM to vote on the move to KOSPI on 4 July.</li>

Sampyo Cement which is currently included in KOSDAQ150 is likely to be removed from this index in the coming months as the company wants to move to KOSPI.
If Sampyo Cement is excluded from KOSDAQ150, we estimate there could be about 9 billion won worth of passive funds which could exit the stock. ADTV is 1.6 billion won.
Therefore, we believe Sampyo Cement's shares could face further weakness in the next several months. It will hold an EGM to vote on the move to KOSPI on 4 July.

<li>On 28 January, the government (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport) announced that it has recommended the heaviest punishment of the cancellation of the construction license for HDC Hyundai Development.</li>
<li>Seoul city government said it will make a decision on the fate of HDC Hyundai Development within six months.</li>
<li>Rather than a complete, permanent cancellation of the company's business license, a more likely scenario is about 6 to 12 months of temporary business operation suspension, in our view. </li>
