<p>Global equities continue to stabilize, with the MSCI ACWI’s 50-day moving average acting like a magnet as prices have oscillated above and below it. More importantly, support levels have held and long-term uptrends are intact. While we expect to see continued heightened volatility and consolidation, our long-term outlook for global equities remains bullish.  In today’s report we put a spotlight on Japan, broad Europe, Germany, and the UK, where small-caps are outperforming large-caps.</p>

Global equities continue to stabilize, with the MSCI ACWI’s 50-day moving average acting like a magnet as prices have oscillated above and below it. More importantly, support levels have held and long-term uptrends are intact. Custom Products was started 14 years ago at Lehman Brothers by current co-founder Patrick Hansen, CFA. After 3 years at Lehman, Patrick moved the team to Macquarie Securities where Simon Rigney (co-founder) joined. 3 years ago we took Custom Products independent. 

Our core strength can be summed up three words. 1- Customization - we have very little off the shelf products and most work is done on a one on one bespoke basis. 2- Speed - We pride ourselves in our ability to get requests back to the client very quickly. 3- Confidentiality - We do not redistribute. There is no grace period where we wait a week and then mass blast. Any request stops with that client.

<p>While it is well known that Value has historically driven the Japanese market, that has not been the case over the last couple of years.  In fact, PBR has been one of the worst factors in the last 2 years. Only 1-month momentum (Japan remains mean reverting) and Size (market-cap) have done worse than PBR.
