<li>The first to be affected is the clinical trial projects under way in Ukraine. It’s possible that pharmaceutical companies may lose such a high-quality and low cost clinical trial center. </li>
<li>Ukraine plays an important role in the healthcare supply chain. So, the war would affected both pharmaceutical companies and medical device companies, both directly and indirectly.</li>
<li>The risk to CXO is not completely eliminated. The “cyclical nature” of CRO industry could begin to show. But CDMO is better than CRO in terms of short-term investment opportunities.</li>

<li>The pricing system of innovative drugs in national medical insurance negotiation has its logic actually. It could provide enterprises with reasonable profits, but not significant profits or exponential growth.</li>
<li>The approval results of FDA on products of <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/legend-biotech-corp" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:28963:1" rel="noopener">Legend Biotech (LEGN US)</a> and Junshi could allow investors to have a better judgment on the logic of internationalization of domestic innovative drugs.</li>

<li>However, it has been more and more difficult to in-license cost-effective products, indicating that the afterwards commercialization could be hard to cover the license-in cost or make decent profits.. </li>
<li>A way out is to <strong>reshape the development path</strong> after license-in by relying on strong R&amp;D systems, so as to achieve truly valuable innovation and thus maximize the commercialization value. </li>
</ul>
