Some good news for XJF as Mengniu sells down; and some bad news, but the IFA rejecting terms was not unexpected. Trading tight at a gross spread of 1.9%. If in for the arb, I'd lighten my position.

The first close of XJF's Offer for Greatview Aseptic Packaging (468 HK) is the 21st January, and for a number of investors, the deadline to tender was the 17-18th January. Shares tendered into an Offer must be settled outside of CCASS. 19.61% have now tendered, bringing shares held + tendering to 46.41%. This looks set to turn unconditional on the first close.
