On 28th August 2018, Kildare Nordic Acquisitions S.à r.l announced a <a href="https://newsclient.omxgroup.com/cdsPublic/viewDisclosure.action?disclosureId=853030&amp;lang=en" target="_blank">recommended public cash tender offer</a> for all shares in <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/27429" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:27429:1">Technopolis OYJ (TPS1V FH)</a> at €4.65/share. The offer is expected to open in September, with the Offer subject to (inter alia) Kildare acquiring at least 90% of the shares outstanding.
Technopolis’ BoD unanimously recommends shareholders accept the offer. The two largest shareholders in Technopolis, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company (19.04% shareholding) and Mercator Capital AB (15.48%), irrevocably undertook to accept the tender offer. This leaves Kildare to acquire a minimum of 55.5% of shares outstanding to reach their 90% target.
