BACKGROUND
I have 20+yrs experience in Asia doing alternative strategies (i.e. non-delta1 non long-only) in fixed income, equity derivatives, and activist/catalyst/event-driven and long-short equity strategies with most of that time spent managing money. 

4 years in fixed income macro, 8 years running internal hedge fund and 4yrs investment banking at Citi in Japan, 3 years running an Asia multi-strat portfolio at a hedge fund, 4+yrs as an independent special situations analyst.

On the 4th of September, <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/lasalle-logiport-reit" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:22658:1" rel="noopener">Lasalle Logiport Reit (3466 JP)</a><a href="http://lasalle-logiport.com/file/en-news-a59b3d46e380946ab4e8b7292dcc4a97f60d0deb.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> an Offering to sell 145,714 units and 7,286 units in an Overallotment in an offering worth just over ¥20bn which would finance the <a href="http://lasalle-logiport.com/file/en-news-16a85f8b2e83de6bbe3182f3c19d3c2e7fe27c61.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">purchase of partial beneficiary interests</a> in two LOGIPORT assets (one in Osaka, one in Hyogo) from its sponsor.This is the REIT's second follow-on offering since its IPO three years ago. Logistics REITs continue to grow faster than the market as a whole and LaSalle Logiport has a relatively 'active' way of thinking about capital management.
