<p>The S&amp;P 500 has fallen 9.6% from its September 20 high and commentators have blamed the selloff on a number of developments: Fed rate hikes, Trump tariffs, expectations for weaker economic growth.  Meanwhile, profits appear to have strengthened in the third quarter and, while we do not see a compelling buy signal similar to that observed in February this year, the U.S. stock market now looks more attractive to us.</p>
