BACKGROUND
I have 20+yrs experience in Asia doing alternative strategies (i.e. non-delta1 non long-only) in fixed income, equity derivatives, and activist/catalyst/event-driven and long-short equity strategies with most of that time spent managing money. 

4 years in fixed income macro, 8 years running internal hedge fund and 4yrs investment banking at Citi in Japan, 3 years running an Asia multi-strat portfolio at a hedge fund, 4+yrs as an independent special situations analyst.

<li>The JPX Nikkei 400 rebalances once a year at the end of August. We track the rebal every week and publish on it every month. Review Results were <a href="https://indexes.nikkei.co.jp/nkave/archives/news/20260807E_1.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> Friday.</li>
<li>This year, there are 45 ADDs and 39 DELETEs. Our High and Medium Conviction ADDs and DELs each had 92% Hit Rates. Our overall Success Rate was 89%. </li>
<li>There are a lot of capping and un-capping events and 32 names where the trade is larger than US$100mm. 58 names with more than 2 days to trade.</li>
