<p>Barring a last-minute approval from Hong Kong's <a href="https://www.coms-auth.hk/en/about_us/index.html" target="_blank">Communications Authority</a> ("CA") on the 2015 &amp; 2016 applications, or that the CA's assessment will be concluded imminently, this Offer/Buyback will lapse on the 23 January, being 12 months from the date of the initial announcement.</p><p>The undisturbed price was $26.75 and shares closed last Friday at $27. The Buyback is/was a management-led initiative premised on excess cash on the balance sheet. Should the Offer lapse, the company can revert to its $2.60/share dividend policy (9.6% yield) and/or pay a special dividend, suggesting limited downside.</p>
