Ethereum is an open-source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform featuring smart contract (scripting) functionality. It provides a decentralized Turing-complete virtual machine, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which can execute scripts using an international network of public nodes. Ethereum also provides a cryptocurrency token called "ether", which can be transferred between accounts and used to compensate participant nodes for computations performed. "Gas", an internal transaction pricing mechanism, is used to mitigate spam and allocate resources on the network.

AAVE is a decentralised Finance (DEFI) protocol that allows users to borrow and lend crypto. Holders of AAVE get discounted fees on the platform and are allowed to vote on the future of the protocol

FTT is the native token of the FTX Trading Platform ecosystem. FTT allows holders to receive discounts on trading fees as well as other benefits

BNB was launched in 3rd July 2017 as an ERC-20 Token that enabled holders to get discounted trading fees at Binance Exchange. BNB has evolved over time to also be the native token of its own blockchain. BNB can still be used to pay for discounted Binance services though it is also heavily used as payment for gas when confirming transactions on BNB Chain.
