HK Connect SOUTHBOUND Flows (To 26 Apr 2024); Strong Net Buying on Banks/Energy Telco SOEs. Again.

Mainland Connect NORTHBOUND Flows (To 26 Apr 2024): Big NB Buy Friday

Roland DG Corporation manufactures color printers and computer related products. The Company's product lines include color printers, vinyl cutters, 3D machines,  and software.  Roland DG has group companies in North and South America, Oceania, Europe.

<li>Originally, <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/brother-industries-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:6114:1" rel="noopener">Brother Industries (6448 JP)</a> wanted to buy <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/roland-dg-corp" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:10653:1" rel="noopener">Roland DG Corp (6789 JP)</a>.  Roland invited others to bid, didn't tell Brother, then said Taiyo Pacific's ¥5,035 bid won.</li>
<li>That was low. Weeks later, Brother lobbed a ¥5,200 overbid. They are going through the approvals process but it isn't clear Brother is negotiating.</li>
<li>Taiyo has extended and extended and shown up in interviews. Now it has overbid at ¥5,370.</li>
</ul>


Originally, Brother Industries (6448 JP) wanted to buy Roland DG Corp (6789 JP).  Roland invited others to bid, didn't tell Brother, then said Taiyo Pacific's ¥5,035 bid won.
That was low. Weeks later, Brother lobbed a ¥5,200 overbid. They are going through the approvals process but it isn't clear Brother is negotiating.
Taiyo has extended and extended and shown up in interviews. Now it has overbid at ¥5,370.

Mimasu Semiconductor Industry / Event-Driven

MIMASU SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY CO., LTD. processes semiconductor materials such as silicon and gallium.  The Company also designs, manufactures, and sells semiconductor material processing machinery and sells various kinds of measuring and testing devices.
