We consistently cover the Tech, Consumer and Industrial sectors, and provide ECM and Events coverage more broadly.

We supplement traditional qualitative insights from company relationships with a robust quantitative foundation that examines as much historical data as is available.
We further refine the accuracy of our insights and calls through the use of alternative data to flesh out current trends, and through a valuation framework that emphasises non-superficial peer group selection and a proper attempt to understand the metrics and changes that have driven security valuations in the past.

NEUTRAL

We downgrade Freightways (FRE) to NEUTRAL from OUTPERFORM following strong relative performance and as growing earnings headwinds (more challenging macro and the reversal of some COVID-19 gains) dampen the near term outlook. We still expect above average earnings growth over the medium term as FRE's operational and strategic (including scope for accretive M&A) levers leave it well positioned. Trading in-line with the market median at ~19x one year forward PE, FRE offers reasonable value for above average quality and growth. However, sentiment is no longer supportive.
