GCL New Energy (Ba2/BB- /NR) are issuing USD 300 mn 3-year Senior Notes. The use of proceeds is mainly for debt refinancing onshore. The IPT is at 7.5%. GCL is a leading producer of solar power in China, where the industry landscape is favourable. We see fair value for the proposed Notes in the low 7% range.
