<li>There is a fair amount of balance between sectors with Consumer Discretionary and Health Care expected to lose index spots to Industrials, Information Technology and Materials.</li>
<li>The forecast adds outperformed the forecast deletes from June-September but have given up gains since then. Position in stocks that will have same-way flows from passive trackers of other indices.</li>

<li>A combination with <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/china-galaxy-securities-co-h" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:165:1" rel="noopener">China Galaxy Securities (H) (6881 HK)</a> may bring synergy, given their different focuses. This will create the 3rd largest securities house in China. </li>
<li>Even without a merger, CICC also looks attractive with the US interest rate trending down. It is best set to gain upon the revival of the Hong Kong IPO market. </li>

There will also be a stock added to the Shanghai Shenzhen CSI 300 Index (SHSZ300 INDEX) to bring the number of index constituents back to 300.
