<ul><li>On January 20th, Nikkei announced a revision to the Nikkei VI Index Guidebook slightly changing the computation of the volatility index.</li><li>The change will be effective from January 27th, 2025.</li><li>The aim of the change is to “increase the number of price adoption and improve the stability of the index.”</li></ul>

<li>Big move on Monday didn’t spark volatility with market settling into a very narrow range to finish the week down 1.89%.</li>
