Our process begins by organizing the universe of actively traded stocks into discrete sectors, then into industry groups. We then apply our technical and quantitative tools to identify developing price trends. Once attractive trends are identified within a selected sector or group, we screen for individual stocks which we believe offer the best risk/reward profile. We provide a historical perspective that often reveals, through our long-term charts, how price patterns often repeat themselves over time.

Technical Analysis

<li>Our long-term outlook remains bullish on global equities (MSCI ACWI). Germany and Europe continue to lead, our favorite theme we have been buying since January 9th.</li>
<li>Near-Term we wouldn't be surprised to see a pullback to range supports at $116 on ACWI-US and 5770-5850 or 5600-5670 on SPX in the coming weeks, where we are buyers.</li>
<li>This report was initially sent out Thursday morning, and as of this writing SPX is now testing support at 5850. Bottom potential.</li>

Near-Term we wouldn't be surprised to see a pullback to range supports at $116 on ACWI-US and 5770-5850 or 5600-5670 on SPX in the coming weeks, where we are buyers.

<li>The public holding company SEPI, controlled by the Spanish Treasury, has confirmed to the CNMV that it is studying the possibility of acquiring a stake in <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/telefonica-sa" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:21299:1" rel="noopener">Telefonica SA (TEF SM).</a>
</li>
<li>Market speculates with a 5% stake to counterbalance the current 4.9% stake of STC (which could execute an option to acquire another 5% pending Government authorisation).</li>
<li>At current market prices, it is equivalent to 22.04 trading sessions. Q3 results and Capital Markets Day, the first major strategic update in years, will take place on 8 November. </li>

The public holding company SEPI, controlled by the Spanish Treasury, has confirmed to the CNMV that it is studying the possibility of acquiring a stake in Telefonica SA (TEF SM).

Market speculates with a 5% stake to counterbalance the current 4.9% stake of STC (which could execute an option to acquire another 5% pending Government authorisation).
At current market prices, it is equivalent to 22.04 trading sessions. Q3 results and Capital Markets Day, the first major strategic update in years, will take place on 8 November. 


iShares MSCI ACWI ETF / Technical Analysis

<li>There continues to be little traction above $93 on MSCI ACWI (ACWI-US), which remains the top-end of our anticipated 2023 trading range. Important downside targets are $86, $84, and $75-77.</li>
<li>Additionally, the EURO STOXX 50 remains below 2-year resistance at 4400-4415.</li>
<li>We remain overweight Europe, Japan, and India, and we prefer to only add exposure on a pullback -- especially in Japan where indexes are bullish yet extended.</li>
</ul>


There continues to be little traction above $93 on MSCI ACWI (ACWI-US), which remains the top-end of our anticipated 2023 trading range. Important downside targets are $86, $84, and $75-77.
Additionally, the EURO STOXX 50 remains below 2-year resistance at 4400-4415.
We remain overweight Europe, Japan, and India, and we prefer to only add exposure on a pullback -- especially in Japan where indexes are bullish yet extended.
