The Qualtrics IPO is expected in the US market in the next few weeks. Qualtrics was originally started in 2002 with company trying to make the sophisticated research simple for the academic market and later expanded to other sectors and industries as the company grew further. </li>

Qualtrics' financials are excellent, with the company generating sales US$289.9 million (up 52.1% YoY) and net profit of US$2.6 million (turned positive YoY) in 2017. The company is planning to raise up to US$200 million in this IPO (which we think is likely to be raised higher). </li>
<li>The company is backed by major private equity investors including Accel (16% stake of the company), Insight Venture Partners (15%), and Sequoia Capital (10%). Ryan Smith (the CEO and cofounder) along with other family members are the largest stakeholders with a 45% ownership (voting control of 48.2%) of the company. </li>
<li>Some of the company's key competitors include (Survey Monkey, <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/27732" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:27732:1">SVMK Inc (SVMK US)</a>, Aon Hewitt, Willis Towers Watson, Google, and Medallia. Survey Monkey completed its IPO on the NASDAQ exchange in September. Qualtrics is a bigger company and is growing faster than Survey Monkey so there should be a greater interest in Qualtrics than Survey Monkey. </li>
