<li>Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Hyun-jung has introduced a revised Income Tax Act that would lower the top tax rate on dividend income from 35% to 25%.</li>
<li>Given that this proposal is coming from the ruling Democratic Party, there is a fairly high probability that this could be passed into law in 3Q 2025.</li>
<li>We provide a list of 28 mid-cap/large cap stocks in Korea with more than 35% dividend payout and 3% or more dividend yield that could benefit from this new proposal.</li>

<li>There are a number of stocks that will have passive flow from global index trackers over the next few weeks, while some are potential changes to the <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/korea-stock-exchange-kospi-200" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:26021:1" rel="noopener">KOSPI2</a> in December.</li>

<li>Two potential downward migrations could be deleted from a global index in August. The new listing that is a potential LargeCap add could be added to a globalindex in September.</li>

KOSPI Size Indices: Overlaps Between Active & Passive Flows

<li>DN Solutions cancelled its IPO today due to low demand. There were not enough institutional investors willing to put their hard earned capital into this IPO. </li>
<li>The IPO price range was between 65,000 won and 89,700 won with market cap ranging from 4.1 trillion won to 5.7 trillion won.</li>
<li>The cancellation of the IPO for DN Solutions is also likely to have a negative impact on DN Automotive which is up 23% in the past one year. </li>
</ul>


DN Solutions cancelled its IPO today due to low demand. There were not enough institutional investors willing to put their hard earned capital into this IPO. 
The IPO price range was between 65,000 won and 89,700 won with market cap ranging from 4.1 trillion won to 5.7 trillion won.
The cancellation of the IPO for DN Solutions is also likely to have a negative impact on DN Automotive which is up 23% in the past one year.
