We see an opportunity here.</li>
<li>With a 9.2% increase in container throughput, CSPL even down by 4.8% YTD, underperformed CMPH by 12.9pp. There is room for it to catch up.</li>
<li>CSPL is also cheaper at 7x and 6.3x PERs for the next two years, making it more attractive on a relative basis.</li>

<li>Its overall load factor also expanded 0.9pp YoY in the quarter, and this is the first YoY improvement since 2Q22. A better utilisation level is good for unit costs.</li>
<li>At end-FY23, net cash equals 62.4% of the share price, dragging ROE to 7.5% for the next three years. But with such solid financials, its 0.7x P/B is not expensive.</li>

<li>Its gross margin is still significantly ahead of the pre-COVID levels, and financially, its net cash balance has been coming down. The dividend payout ratio has also lowered slightly.</li>
<li>The FY23 consensus earnings forecast is too optimistic given 1H23 net profit is only 33.5% of the full-year estimate. The downside risk will cap near-term share price performance. </li>
