Sprint's decision to forgo participation in the broadcast&nbsp;spectrum auction scheduled for early 2016 isn't a surprise,&nbsp;considering the firm's financial condition.In general, we&nbsp;believe Sprint's decision to focus on small-cell technology&nbsp;is its best option.While additional low-frequency spectrum&nbsp;would greatly benefit the firm's network coverage, we view&nbsp;small cells as the best avenue to improve wireless network&nbsp;capacity, especially given Sprint's strong high-frequency&nbsp;spectrum position.However, even with the decision to sit&nbsp;out the broadcast auction, we continue to doubt Sprint's&nbsp;ability to finance its network build plans.
