The Nikkei 225 Sep2023 Rebal is Lasertec (6920), Mercari (4385), Nitori (9843) IN; Mitsui E&S (7003), NSG (5202), and Matsui Sec (8628) OUT. No big surprises. But all the adds are stealthily big!

Since the Sep 2023 Nikkei announcement 10 days ago, Lasertec flatlined vs Peers, Nitori popped, then underperformed what might loosely be considered peers, and Mercari fell 6% outright through yesterday (it's up today). But this is not overtraded. Mercari volume was third lowest in a year yesterday. And there is LOTS to buy. These inclusions are bigger than people think.
