<li>Van Dijk was instrumental in the 2019 listing of Prosus and the creation (and subsequent unwinding) of the highly-criticised Prosus/Naspers cross-holding structure. </li>
<li>His departure should have minimal impact. Everything else basically stays the same. Continue to be long Prosus vs. NAV - that is, Prosus vs. <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/tencent-holdings-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:26:1" rel="noopener">Tencent (700 HK)</a>.</li>

<li>Evidence would suggest that the buyback is set to continue at a relatively steady pace for the foreseeable future, which should support the discount to NAV going forward.</li>
<li>The simplification of the shareholding structure, to remove the cross-holding, could sustainably reduce Prosus’ discount to NAV by roughly 10%.</li>

<li>Profitability target for the consolidated ecommerce businesses moved forward to H2 FY24 from H1 FY25. Significant narrowing of trading losses in H1 FY24 to $36m from $256m in H1 FY23.</li>
<li>As management 'commit to highlight value where and when possible', we think an IPO could very well be on the horizon.</li>
</ul>
