Once attractive trends are identified within a selected sector or group, we screen for individual stocks which we believe offer the best risk/reward profile. We provide a historical perspective that often reveals, through our long-term charts, how price patterns often repeat themselves over time.

Technical Analysis

Despite the Nasdaq 100 getting quantitatively extended, the weight of the evidence continues to suggest that our bullish outlook remains appropriate. Shake Shack Inc Class A / Equity Bottom-Up

I visited the Shake Shack store in Cheongdam, Seoul this past weekend. I went in the Shake Shack Cheongdam store (with my family) at around 12:30PM this past Sunday. You can see the photos below. In 2016 and 2017, there were typically long lines outside the store during peak lunch/dinner times on weekends. This is no longer the case. In this note, I will present a NEGATIVE view on this stock driven by the following three reasons:1) Evidence of slowing business in Korean operations2) Trade war between US and China 3) Lofty valuations
