Taiwan Stock Exchange Weighted Index / Technical Analysis

<li>Our top short bets have been in Japan, Taiwan, Korea and the HSI. All are facing key inflection trendline make or break levels for our fresh short entries.</li>
<li>SPX trade remains heavy and is expected to cap this bounce in Asia with a near term target of 3,785 (tactical rally zone).</li>
<li>Core Asia is forming a bullish wedge formation that will mature in late May/June setting up a tactical rise. Immediate trend barriers are a key inflection point to watch.</li>

<li>Macro cycle in the US and Asia remains heavy for April/May with a summer cycle low expected to take shape for a stronger Q3.</li>

Korea Stock Exchange KOSPI 200 / Technical Analysis

<li>Asia top shorts are Taiwan and Korea followed by HSI and the Nikkei. All are rolling over under key trendline barriers. Need to break near support pivots for downside traction.</li>
<li>SPX 4,470 is the key support to break below to add to selling pressure in Asia that would crack pivot supports.</li>
<li>Early April call for increased volatility with a weaker April in store, assuming we see downside follow through below noted pivot supports.</li>

<li>TAIEX trendline resistance is the ideal short level into any bounce with 16,200-000 the support target.</li>
