<ul><li>Pakistan's Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) recorded sales of 1.4mn tons in Nov 2025, down 10% YoY and 5% MoM.</li><li>The YoY decline is due to a high base in Nov 2024, when OMC sales hit a 25-month peak driven by a 30-month high sales of HSD. This surge last year followed price stability, an improving economy, and tighter control on smuggling, with PSO leading HSD sales.</li><li>This takes total sales for 5MFY26 to 6.81mn tons, reflecting a 1% YoY increase compared to 6.75mn tons in 5MFY25.</li></ul>

<li>Investors' sustained preference is for stocks catering to domestic consumption that are able to adopt AI to improve productivity and expand their cash-generating businesses. Internet platforms fall in this silo.</li>

<li>Concerns about sustainability of AI capex and doubts about Fed rate trajectory were the key drivers of FIIs' worries. The latter also depressed the Asian currencies.</li>
<li>Study of last 6 years cumulative buying/selling reveals massive selling in Taiwan/Korea. Flows in these markets should recover the most as FIIs play catch-up. India is a more difficult call.</li>
