Alibaba holds a 67% stake in Cainiao. </li>
<li>Cainiao's revenue growth, while on a declining trend, remains in double digits. Encouragingly. narrowing losses set a path to profitability.</li>
<li>On 30 March, Bloomberg reported that Cainiao is currently valued at more than US$20 billion. Our valuation analysis suggests that such a valuation is justifiable.</li>

Alibaba (ADR) (BABA US) aims to complete the IPO of Cainiao Smart Logistics (1437124D HK) in the next 12 to 18 months. Alibaba holds a 67% stake in Cainiao.

<li>Completion of logistics projects, more asset value realisation (through REIT and private equity funds), contribution from Yicheng Qiwanli and lower finance costs should underpin outlook.</li>
<li>SZI is an asset play with significant upside and this is reflected in the undemanding 0.42x P/B. Against its historical average of 0.67x, such a level is almost -2SD below. </li>

Keisei Electric (9009 JP)'s valuation has deviated from Oriental Land (4661 JP)'s since the proposed expansion of Tokyo Disney Sea, Fantasy Springs. That bifurcation should now reverse.
