Trial Holdings (5882 JP) priced its IPO at JPY1,700 per share to raise gross proceeds of US$256 million. The shares will start trading on 21 March.

The peers have modestly re-rated since the prospectus was released on February 19. The IPO price remains attractive.

<li>Some 17 months after the Cheng Family failed to secure 50%+ of <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/giordano-international-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:13899:1" rel="noopener">Giordano International (709 HK)</a>, the family are now calling an SGM to install friendly directors.</li>

TheLawson (2651 JP) deal is not terribly surprising. It's not terribly surprising that it is being done cheaply. It IS being done too cheaply. This is bumpable by force.
